Recipe FAQs
- → How ripe should the bananas be?
Use bananas that are very ripe with plenty of brown spots; they provide optimal sweetness and moisture.
- → Can I substitute dairy milk?
Yes, plant-based milk works well to keep the loaf moist and tender while accommodating dietary needs.
- → What’s the best way to avoid overmixing?
Fold the dry ingredients gently into the wet mixture just until combined to prevent a dense texture.
- → Are nuts or chocolate chips necessary?
They are optional add-ins that add texture and flavor variety but can be omitted for a classic loaf.
- → How do I know when the loaf is baked?
Insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs for perfect doneness.
