# What You Need:
→ Tuna Salad
01 - 1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained
02 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
03 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
04 - 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
05 - 1 tablespoon red onion, finely chopped
06 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
07 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
→ Sandwich
08 - 4 slices sandwich bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
09 - 4 slices cheddar cheese
10 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
# Directions:
01 - In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, red onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.
02 - Place two slices of bread on a clean surface. Evenly spread the tuna salad over each slice, then top each with two slices of cheddar cheese. Cover with the remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
03 - Generously butter the outsides of each sandwich, applying one side per bread slice.
04 - Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat until hot.
05 - Place the sandwiches on the skillet with the buttered sides down. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, pressing gently, until the bread turns golden brown.
06 - Flip the sandwiches carefully and cook the other side for another 3 to 4 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
07 - Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, slice them in half, and serve immediately while hot.
