04 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 tbsp soy sauce
06 - 1 tsp sesame oil
07 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
08 - ½ tsp salt
09 - 1 tsp sugar
→ Assembly
10 - 12 lumpia wrappers (spring roll wrappers)
11 - 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
12 - Oil spray (for air fryer)
→ Dipping Sauce (optional)
13 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
14 - 1 tbsp rice vinegar
15 - 1 tsp sugar
16 - 1 tsp chili sauce (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Combine ground chicken, grated carrot, sliced green onions, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix thoroughly until well blended.
02 - Cut each lumpia wrapper in half to form two rectangular pieces.
03 - Place 1 tablespoon of filling near one short edge of a wrapper half. Shape filling into a small log. Fold sides over filling and roll tightly. Brush the end with beaten egg to seal securely.
04 - Repeat filling and rolling process until all mixture and wrappers are used.
05 - Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
06 - Arrange lumpia bites in a single layer in air fryer basket. Lightly spray with oil to promote crisping.
07 - Air fry for 8 minutes, flip each piece, spray again with oil, and air fry for an additional 7 minutes until golden and crisp.
08 - In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and optional chili sauce. Mix well.
09 - Serve lumpia bites hot with prepared dipping sauce.
